The Kamban Scout Group is Registered under ICF District, of Southern Railway State Bharat Scouts and Guides. The Group currently having two units from each Cubs and Scouts Sections and a unit from Rover section, the Group have 2 Cub Masters, 2 Asst Cub Masters ,2 Scout Masters, 2 Asst Scout Masters, 1Rover Scout Leader,

1 Asst Rover Scout Leader ,and one Group leader(Shri A.Kamalakannan) and totally the Group strength is ......

         

                            This Group was founded by shri. S.Jayaraman. RSL on 10th October 1995 at ICF Dist headquarters with just one Section (Rovers section) with the strength of 16 Rovers and 2 Leaders. Since then the Group is actively participated in all the events organised by District state and National and 12 times the Group has secured winners District level competitions, in due course adult Rovers became the trained leaders and we were able to start all there section and crew is now became full fledged  Group with all sections in it.          population education program

         personality development program

 

                            The Group is regularly conducting various camps, educational program, seminars, skill development program, personality development program, leadership program etc to develop the Scouts for the reason the movement was started.

The Group also conducting various types of adventure activities, like trekking, hiking, cycling, and water based activities like boating and swimming.

Every year around 5 Rashtrapathy awards 5 Rajyapuraskar awards 5 Golden arrow awards is being won by our Cubs ,Scouts and Rovers.14 adult Scouts were recruited in Railways in various posts for their excellence in scouting Group regularly conducts troop meetings, crew meetings and overnight camps

Outing and various colorful activities are organised for cub section. This Group is organizing leaders meet in every month first week to discuss the target we set in advance.

 Since the leaders are taking training advancement for leaders in their respective section Group is able to successfully running.

 

This Group has twice won the best Group trophy for ICF since its inception from 2013

 

                                The success of the Group in terms of quantity and quality is contribution of each and every leader by their innovative ideas, tireless work, and sincere commitment towards the Group and also special program to the boys for their development.

The Group is leaping on 25th year this October. This will be a great milestone for the long journey of the Group
